We have customized two itineraries for you, both departing from Lijiang on the first day and returning to Lijiang on the third day.

Itinerary A:
Day 1: In the morning, take a car to Tiger Leaping Gorge to experience its grandeur; Pass by Haba Snow Mountain, feel its majesty and mystery(Due to the travel time, we did not climb and enjoyed the scenery at the foot of the mountain); Stay overnight in Shangri-La and stroll through the ancient town of Shangri-La in the evening.
Day 2: Arrive at Potatso National Park in the morning to admire beautiful lakes, snow mountains, and forests; Depart for Baima Snow Mountain to experience the magnificent scenery of the snow mountain; Return to Shangri-La at night, rest early as the return time is late.
Day 3: Arrive at Dukezong Ancient City in the morning for a tour; Arrange for a Thangka experience in the afternoon (optional); Yila Grassland, the largest and most beautiful grassland in Shangri-La, offers idyllic scenery; Return to Lijiang in the evening, have a pleasant journey.
Itinerary B:
Day 1: Arrive in Shangri-La in the morning, first go to the hotel to rest and acclimatize to the plateau climate. Visit Potatso National Park in the afternoon, admire the beautiful lakes, snow mountains, and forests. Try local specialties in the evening, such as butter tea, Zanba, and yak meat.
Day 2: Visit Songzanlin Monastery in the morning, one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Yunnan Province. Visit Napahai in the afternoon, take a boat trip on the lake. Return to Dukezong Ancient City in the evening, experience Tibetan culture, such as trying on Tibetan costumes, and participate in the ancient city’s handicraft market.
Day 3: Leave early for Meili Snow Mountain, with a chance to see the sunrise on the golden mountain. Visit Jinsha River Grand Bay in the afternoon. Return to Lijiang in the evening, ending the Shangri-La trip.
