Meals: No meal Accommodation: In Chengdu Upon your arrival in Chengdu, your dedicated driver will greet you at the airport or railway station. You'll then be transferred in a private vehicle to your handpicked hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to explore Chengdu at your leisure. Tips for today: You may want to exchange some money at the airport, hotel, or local bank, with assistance from your driver, or withdraw CNY cash directly from an ATM.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Chengdu Start your day with an early morning visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Located about 10 km from downtown Chengdu, this beautifully designed park is home to around 80 giant pandas as well as other rare animals like the red panda and black-necked crane. The best time to visit is in the morning when the pandas are most active. Afterward, enjoy a traditional hotpot lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Jinsha Ruins Museum, which showcases the ancient Shu culture from the Shang and Zhou dynasties. For an optional evening activity, you can enjoy a traditional Sichuan Opera show, famous for its face-changing and hand-shadow performances.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Chengdu After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, you'll visit the Sichuan Cuisine Museum. Here, you'll not only learn about the history of Sichuan cuisine but also get the chance to observe and even participate in cooking traditional dishes. In the afternoon, you'll explore Chengdu People's Park, a popular spot where locals engage in various leisure activities like dancing, playing cards, and sipping tea. If you wish, you can join in. Later, you'll visit Kuan Zhai Alley, a historic area with ancient streets dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Take a break at a Chinese-style Starbucks and enjoy a coffee as you soak in the atmosphere.
