Day 1: Arrival in Guilin, Li River Cruise to Yangshuo

  • Meet your private tour guide at Guilin Airport/Train Station.
  • Transfer to hotel.
  • Li River cruise, picturesque scenery.
  • Arrive in Yangshuo and explore the Chinese countryside by car, bike or scooter.

Day 2: Yangshuo to Zhaoxing

  • In the morning, go bamboo rafting on Yulong River.
  • Take a bus to Yangshuo Railway Station.
  • High-speed rail (1.5 hours) to Congjiang.
  • Get to know Guizhou tour guide; stay at Zhaoxing hotel.

Day 3: Exploring Zhaoxing

  • 2.5-hour hike through Guizhou’s rice terraces.
  • Enjoy lunch at selected restaurant.
  • Free time at Zhaoxing Dong Village in the afternoon.

Day 4: Guilin to Fenghuang Ancient Town

  • Accommodation: Wulingyuan Hotel.
  • 6 hours high-speed train to Phoenix.
  • Explore riverside cabins and local culture.
  • Suggestion for evening: Watch the night view at a cafe by the Tuojiang River.

Day 5: Fenghuang to Zhangjiajie National Park

  • 40 minutes drive to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (World Heritage).
  • Cable car ride to Tianzi Mountain, trails and observation decks.
  • Lunch was at McDonald’s on the mountain.
  • In the afternoon, go to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (Hallelujah Pillar).
  • You can choose Bailong elevator to descend.
  • Departure from Zhangjiajie.
